This handsome Edwardian tobacco box which is made of brass is dated 1909 to the top and has an engraving of a steam locomotive with initials either side.

This antique brass tin is oval in shape, has a tactile feel fitting in the hand or pocket nicely and would have most likely belonged to a steam locomotive driver in 1909.

A very nice collectible tobacco box and an ideal gift for a steam locomotive enthusiast.

Condition: Very good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some shallow bruises and general wear. Hinge and clasp work as they should. Please see pictures.
