This great looking soccer ball which is made of thick tan leather has leather laces, is marked with a 4. This is a nice vintage English leather ball dating from c1940 and is by a top maker.
In 1942, Slavenger acquired William Sykes Ltd. Sykes also produced the Zig-Zag branded football that was used in many leading events including the FA Cup finals of 1936, 1937, 1939 and 1946.
This ball has it's original Beritex bladder which inflates and looks to be holding air. Displays well.
A true vintage football that is in great condition and would make a wonderful addition to a football collection.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with some light age related wear and marks. The original Beritex bladder is fitted which inflates and looks to be holding air but as this is an old bladder is not guaranteed. Displays well. Please see pictures.
