This Victorian one piece conductor's baton which is made of ebony has a beautiful ornately designed silver handle which is fully hallmarked for 1893.

This very nice quality baton has a silver central band which is also hallmarked and has an inscription that reads:

Presented to Mr J Wright. From His Friends In The Choir. May 8th 1894.

A very nice Victorian presentation piece that would make a wonderful gift.

Material: Ebony wood. Silver.

Date: 1893.

Hallmarked: Handle and central band. Silver fittings are hallmarked. Lion for sterling silver. Chester. Date letter K for 1893. Maker's mark EN.

Dimensions of Baton: Length: 48 cm (19").

Weight: 78 g.

Condition: Very good antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some small marks and bruise. Please see pictures.
