This fabulous antique French oil painting which is of Catholic Saint Francis de Sales is an 18th century Italian School painting which was painted using oils on a canvas and mounted on wooden stretchers.

This highly decorative oil painting shows Saint Francis wearing a cape with his hands in the praying position and has nice detail such as lace on the bottom of his sleeves.

This painting is a large impressive size at 74.5 cm high and is a good decorative antique piece that would look wonderful on display in the home.
