This fabulous highly decorative French tradesman's sign which is made of metal has a painted brown background with beautifully hand painted wording to the front in orange / brown that reads Entreprise de Peinture, L Zeyer, Rombas.

This antique trade sign that dates from the late 19th / early 20th century would have been fixed to a wall to advertise a French painter's business. The oval shape and wonderful rustic charm with flaky paint that shows years of aging and wear all add to the decorative look.

Being a good size with great colours and patina this makes it a super decorative piece for the home, bar or restaurant.

Can be mounted on a wall by the fixing holes or looks great just resting against one.
