This stunning antique head shaped wooden hat block which originates from France dates from the late 19th century, is embossed to the front with the number 54 and has a beautiful dark brown patina.

This tactile wooden display stand is a good heavy weight and would have originally been used to make and shape hats or wigs.

This hat block has accumulated lots of pin holes and wear over the years leaving a wonderful look and would be ideal for displaying hats, wigs and other headwear.

Condition: Very good decorative antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. The usual pin holes, splits, cracks, chips and lots of age related wear leaving a wonderful patina and look. No woodworm. Please see pictures.
