This fabulous antique finial which is in the form of a rampant lion originates from Belgium, dates from c1900 and would have originally been used as a parade banner pole topper.
This brass lion figure which is stood on it's two back legs has a flowing mane, long curled tail, has a banner hanging hook and has a nice aged patina with remains of it's original gold gilding.
An attractive lion figure which is now mounted on a marble base making a decorative antique display piece.
