This nice quality silver plated tray which is an extra large size is made by top silversmith Mappin & Webb and dates from the mid 20th century.

This stylish oval tray and is marked with the maker's details to the underside, has ribbed edging, ribbed design handles to each end and is a heavy weight.

A handsome tray that will look great on display and ideal for displaying your barware.

Material: Silver plate.

Date: Mid 20th century.

Marked: Mappin & Webb. Silver Plate on Copper.

Dimensions: Length including handles: 62 cm (24 1/4"). Width: 37.5 cm (14 1/2"). Height to top of handles: 4 cm (1 1/2").

Weight: 2.456 kg.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches and a few light marks. The silver plating has worn through on the underside of the handle. Please see pictures.
