This wonderful antique ping pong set which dates from c1900 comes in it's wooden storage box and is by J Jaques and Hamley Bros.

The set comes complete with two Gossima bats which have wood handles, are made of vellum and have red bindings to the edges, a Halex ping pong ball, table net clamps with are marked with Hamleys Ping Pong, net and comes in the original wood case.

The box lid still retains it's original label that reads The New Table Game of Ping Pong or Gossima. To be obtained at Hamley Bros. Sole Publishers & Manufacturers Jaques & Son Ltd & Hamley Bros (Jointly concerned). The inside lid also has a Hamley's, 512 Oxford Street, London label.

This very nice table tennis set is a wonderful piece for any games enthusiast or antique sporting goods collector.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with some age related wear. The bats are excellent condition with the vellum having no rips or tears. The box has some wear and lid retaining ribbon is broken. Please see pictures.
