This impressive antique desk stand which dates from the 19th century is by Cooper Brothers and Sons and has a horn of plenty or Cornucopia mounted in a silver plated stand.

This desk stand is unusual having silver plate fixings with a candlestick to one end, pen holder to the front along with a blank shield cartouche and has a cut glass inkwell that sits nicely in the central holder.

An unusual antique desk stand that would make an impressive statement piece.

Date: Late 19th century.

Material: Bovine horn. Silver plated metal. Glass inkwell.

Marked: EP. Maker's mark C Bros S for Cooper Brothers and Sons.

Weight: 786 g.

Condition: Very good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. All over wear to silver plate with the warm copper colour showing through. No chips, cracks or breaks. Please see pictures.
