This interesting antique cricket ball trophy which was made using the original cricket ball from the match played in 1922 sits in it's fitted silver hallmarked stand which has cricket stumps as the base and a silver hallmarked band around the centre that reads:

An unusual antique mounted cricket ball trophy that would be an excellent addition to a collection of cricket memorabilia.
Date: 1922.
Hallmarks: Hallmarked to band on the ball and also stand with Lion for Sterling Silver. Leopard's head for London. Date letter g for 1922. Maker's mark DF for Josiah Williams & Co.
Dimensions: Width: 8.5 cm (3 1/4"). Depth (including ball): 7 cm (2 3/4"). Height (including ball): 11.5 cm (4 1/2").
Weight: 240 g total.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with light signs of use to stand. A few light tarnish marks and some light surface scratches. Some small bruises. The ball is match played so does have wear. Please see pictures.
