This handsome antique English Oak fruit bowl which dates from 1906 is by Daniel & Arter and has a wonderful look.

This nice quality serving bowl has a silver plated top rim that is marked with EPNS and with it's maker's mark for Daniel & Arter, sits on a raised wooden foot that also has a silver plated rim and has a silver plated shield cartouche to the front which has an interesting inscription that reads

A very nice usable antique bowl that could be used for fruit, nuts or just a decorative bowl with it's wonderful look.

Material: Oak. Silver plate.

Date: 1906.

Maker: Daniel & Arter.

Marked: Marked to top rim with D&A for Daniel & Arter & EPNS.

Dimensions: Diameter: 24 cm (9 1/2"). Height: 14.5 cm cm (5 3/4").

Weight: 1018 g.

Condition: Very good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some general wear, marks and shrinkage. This bowl would have had a liner but we no longer have this. Please see pictures.
