This fine quality antique rugby football cap which is made of black velvet with black silk lining has a fancy monogram to the front embroidered in gold coloured metal braid with matching gold metal braid tassel and edging.

This beautiful example is also embroidered with four dates 1925 - 1926, 1926 - 1927, 1927 - 1928 and 1928 - 1929 so would have been awarded to the owner (Leslie Fletcher) for his achievements four years in a row.

This wonderful antique sports cap has it's retailer's label inside for Rowan Glasgow plus the hand written name of it's owner Leslie Fletcher.

Looks great on display as it is in such good condition and would make a nice collectors item.
