This interesting cycling head guard which dates from the 1930's is made of brown leather, has 8 bands of padded leather, two side straps and is marked to the inside with the maker's details.

This rare hairnet helmet would have been worn by professional cyclists in the early 20th century. Today this would make a wonderful display item for a bike shop, bar or just a nice decorative piece of cycling memorabilia.

Condition: Very good used antique / vintage condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some wear and cracking to leather. Small old repair to strap. This is a display item only and not suitable to wear for protection. Please see pictures.
