This set of 7 copper rum measures which were used as a Royal Naval rum cups in the mid 20th century have large side handles that are attached to their bodies with rivets and have tinned interiors.

5 of these copper mugs are marked to the outer with the King George cipher, 1 with the Queen Elizabeth II ciphers and numbers 51. 52. 53 and 56.

This set consists of 1/2 gallon, Quart, Pint, 1/2 Pint, 1 1/2 Gill, Gill and 1/2 Gill. The largest of these (1/2 gallon) would have been used as a large rum measure to fill and share out between the crew.

Today, these are very collectible and would be ideal as an interior design piece.
