This vintage / antique prosthetic hand which has static fingers and a moving thumb dates from the 1st half of the 20th century.

This medical hand model is of a right hand and has an inside metal ratchet mechanism to connect it to an adult's arm.

This tactile hand is beautifully made of laminated wood with carved fingernails and has a wonderful golden brown patina. Would make an unusual collectable item and is a great talking piece.

Date: First half of the 20th century.

Dimensions: Length: 17 cm (6 3/4"). Width: 9 cm (3 3/4"). Height: 9 cm (3 1/2").

Weight: 252 g.

Condition: In good antique / vintage condition with signs of use in keeping with age. A few light marks and scuffs leaving a wonderful patina. Some wear to the palm, bruises and the tip of the little finger is missing. Please see pictures.
