This stunning antique walking stick is made of a knobbly Thornwood and has a superbly crafted silver handle which is beautifully designed to match the Thornwood cane. This handsome stick which dates from the late 19th century has a brass tip and is made by specialist cane and stick manufacturer Henry Howell & Co of Old Street, London.

Henry Howell was one of the leading English cane makers and supplier from his factory at Old Street, London.

The end of the handle is handsomely monogrammed.

This beautiful walking stick that would make a wonderful gift is a great collector's piece for a walking stick collector and is in excellent usable condition.

Date: 1894.

Materials: Wood. Silver handle. Brass tip.

Hallmarked: Lion for sterling silver. Leopards head for London. Date letter T for 1894. Makers mark J.H for Henry Howell & Co.

Length: 90 cm - 35 1/2" approx.

Handle: 9.5 cm x 6 cm. 4" x 2 1/4" approx.

Total weight: 250 grams.

Condition: Good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some scratches, small bruises and general wear. No splits or breaks. Handle is just a little loose but secure. Please see pictures.
