This fabulous antique walking cane which dates from the 19th century is made from the tail of a stingray and has a beautiful decorative oriental silver handle with Chinese figures and trees.

This desirable stick is 82.5cm long, has a vacant cartouche to the top of the silver handle which could be engraved, a brass tip and has a great tactile feel.

This rare cane would make a very nice unusual piece for a walking stick collector.

Materials: Stingray tail. Chinese silver top. Brass ferrule.

Date: 19th century - c1880.

Dimensions: 82.5 cm (32 1/4") Length. 4.5 cm (1 1/2") Width at widest part of silver handle.

Weight: 306 g.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some scratches, a few bruises and some tarnishing to silver handle and general wear. Please see pictures.
