This wonderful Edwardian silver circular golfing vesta has an embossed golfing scene to the front depicting a golfer about to take a swing in front of spectators.
The case was given as a golfing award with the reverse of the case having details of the winners: Winner. Fossett Roberts Cup. 1919. Capt Evans Cup 1922.
This unusual silver vesta which dates from 1907, looks great on display and is a nice collectable item.
Material: Solid Silver.
Hallmarked: Fully hallmarked to the case for Birmingham, Lion for Sterling Silver. date letter h for 1907 and with the maker's mark. Also hallmarks to the inside of the lid: Lion for Sterling Silver and date letter h.

Condition: Very good antique condition with some light signs of use in keeping with age. All over rubbing, light scratching, some small dings to back and one to the top which I have shown in the pictures. The lid opens and closes well. The spring works well and keeps the lid closed when shut. Please see pictures.
