This stunning Art Deco solid silver and glass cocktail shaker which dates from 1928 is by renowned silversmith James Dixon & Sons and has a large bulbous glass body with etched measurements which shows the amount of cocktail up to 1 1/2 pints or 30 Ounces.

This unusual shaker has a two part removable solid silver lid with cork stoppers that also incorporates a silver inner strainer and ice crusher / juicer.

This extremely rare and desirable piece is nicely hallmarked for English sterling silver to all the metal parts. The top, lid, edge rim, inner T bars and even the connecting nut.

This handsome shaker is in excellent condition and not only looks great on display but would make a wonderful gift for a silver collector and is also a usable bar accessory.
