This handsome walking cane which dates from WW1 has a malacca shaft with pronounced ridge, horn ferrule and an ornately decorated silver top which has the monogram and motto of the 16th County of London Queen's Westminsters - South Africa 1900-02.

This nice quality stick is a good length at 90.5 cm, is fully hallmarked for 1915 with the maker's marks and would make an interesting piece for a collector or a usable stick.

Date: 1915.

Hallmarked: Lion for sterling silver. Leopard Head for London. Date letter U for 1915. Maker's mark BM & Co.

Length: 90.5 cm (35 3/4") approx. Width at top of shaft: 23.5 mm.

Weight: 192 grams.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some surface wear to the lower half, light scratches, small bruises and general wear. Please see pictures.
