This lovely tactile spirit hip flask which is made of silver plate and glass dates from the beginning of the 20th century, has a screw on top and a glass stopper which seals well so does not leak.

This handsome oval hip flask has a detachable silver plated cup which is marked to the underside with the maker's mark of M. Lenoir, 14 Rue Royal. (Maison Lenoir of Paris). The front of the cup is engraved with the logo and inscription of Offert par J et F Martell - Cognac.

A clean and usable antique flask in great condition that has a nice tactile feel so would make a wonderful gift.

Marks: Marked to the underside with the maker's mark of M. Lenoir, 14 Rue Royale.

Weight: 270 grams.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with some light signs of use in keeping with age. A very clean and tidy flask. Some light surface scratches and tarnish. The cup slides on and off of the flask well and stays firmly in place. No splits, holes or breaks. The lid closes firmly, seals well and does not leak. Please see pictures.
