This fabulous solid silver bowl which can be used as a small Champagne or wine cooler is fully hallmarked for 1919, is made by silversmith Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd and is a very good weight at 906 grams.

This stylish antique bowl has a beautiful hammered effect, features 2 lion heads with rings as side handles which have good detail, a stepped base and the bowl is big enough to hold a bottle of wine. Would also make a wonderful punch bowl.

A quality piece that looks wonderful on display and a very nice usable item.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver. Leopard's head for London. Date letter d for 1919 and maker's mark EB&S Ld for Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd.

Lion stamp on the ring handles for sterling silver.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with only very light signs of use in keeping with age. No damage, breaks or splits. Please see pictures.
