A fine quality late 19th Century Meiji period Bronze Japanese Page Turner or could be used as a letter opener.

The handle and blade are wonderfully decorated in fine detail with a monkey, birds, flowers and other interesting details using silver, gold and other metals.

Dates: c1890.

Size: 30cm long.

The blade is in very good condition and not bent or twisted. The handle is in excellent condition with just some age related wear. Please see pictures.
