This stunning antique walking cane has a fabulous carved handle which is made of ivory and is in the form of a Japanese lion dog with a flower design to the top. The Victorian silver collar is fully hallmarked for London 1885 and the beautiful malacca shaft has a pronounced ridge.

The Japanese ivory handle is of very nice quality and has good detail.

This rare quality stick which is in excellent usable condition is a good length at 96 cm, has a brass ferrule and would make a wonderful collector's piece.

Hallmarked: Lion for sterling silver. London. Date letter K for 1885. Maker's mark E.S W.D.

Length: 96 cm (37 3/4") approx. Width of ivory top: 5 cm (2").

Weight: 334 grams.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some light scratches, tiny chips, small bruises and general wear. Malacca cane has chips, knocks, bruises and is a little twisted. Please see pictures.
