This rare Victorian novelty desk stand is designed as two inkwells in the form of golf balls with 2 crossed golf clubs between with the head of the clubs forming a pen holder. All are set on an ornately engraved stand which sits on four round feet.

The golf ball inkwells open to reveal removable glass liners.

This unusual silver plate golfing desk stand is by Kerr & Phillips of Glasgow (1882-1896), is marked for Electroplate and dates from c1890.

This fantastic desk accessory would make a unique collectors piece for a golf fan and looks wonderful on display.
