This antique football which is in good condition and made of thick leather is the same style of ball that was used in the first half of the first World Cup final between Argentina and Uruguay in 1930.

The first World Cup final saw Argentina and Uruguay fail to agree on which ball they should use, so Argentina's ball was used in the opening half, and Uruguay's in the second. The T-Panel is larger and heavier ball than the 12 panel 'Tiento'.

This ball dates from 1930, is made of brown leather, is a 12 panel design and has 5 pairs of lace holes. There is a bladder inside which is inflated.

A very interesting piece of collectable football memorabilia that looks great on display.

Details of the match along with pictures of the original football can be found on wikipedia -

Size of the ball is approx 69 cm / 27" circumference.

Weight: 396 grams.
