This stylish antique citrus press which is made of silver plate is by top French maker Christofle, marked with their maker's mark, stamped with Brevete FC SGDG (which is the French patent mark Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement) and dates from c1900.

This unusual lemon / lime squeezer is a very nice heavy piece and works by placing your lemon or lime half within the claws and then closing the two handles to squeeze. The pips are retained by the pierced strainer.

This wonderful juicer looks great on display, is a good quality usable antique bar accessory and ideal for adding to your French barware collection.

One of the pictures is of an early Christofle catalogue with this Presse Citron shown at 20 Francs. The catalogue is not included.
