This fabulous antique Chinese silver ice bucket which dates from the early 20th century is made by Chinese silversmith Tack Hing of Hong Kong, has a hammered design and features an engraved scrolling four clawed whiskered dragon that circles the outer of the ice pail with a blank circle cartouche.

This beautiful and interesting piece of Chinese silver which is of nice quality and a good weight has a top swing handle and comes with it's removable Chinese silver drip tray and pair of matching Chinese silver dragon claw ice tongs. All of which are stamped with the same maker's mark.

This handsome ice bucket and tongs not only looks great on display but would make a wonderful gift for a Chinese silver collector and is also a nice usable bar accessory.

Marked to each piece: Tack Hing. 90% silver. Chinese character mark.

Maker: Tack Hing, Hong Kong.

Dimensions of ice pail: 12.5 cm (4 3/4") Diameter. 14 cm (5 1/2") Height including top handle bracket.

Dimensions of ice tongs: 16 cm (6 1/4") Length. 3.5 cm (1 1/4") Width.

Total weight: 584 g.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches and some tarnish. The removable drip tray has a few splits around the edge. The inside is nice and clean. Please see pictures.
