This wonderful antique Black Forest wood carved bear which dates from c1900 has beautiful carved detail and has an open mouth showing his teeth.

This handsome bear is posed walking with a wooden staff and carrying a light brown wooden slatted barrel on his back. He stands on a heavy wooden base and would have most likely been used to hold fire lighters.

A beautiful bear in excellent condition that looks very nice on display.

Date: c1900.

Size: Height - 34.5 cm ( 13 1/2 "). Width - 26 cm (10").

Weight: 2.588 Kg.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with only light signs of wear in keeping with age. No breaks or repairs. Nice dark brown patina. Base has some light cracking. Please see pictures.
