This fabulous collections of three antique Colombian pedlar figures of two men and one lady are sculpted in wax and date from the early 19th century.

These handmade figures which are of typical Colombian pedlars have been skilfully crafted and have lots of in depth detail such as using real hair, realistic facial and body features and their hand stitched clothing. Each of them carries a net hung over their shoulders which is full of their wares that they are selling including small clay bowls and animal furs.

Each figure is mounted on a wooden base with one having a hand signed label that reads Roberto Claudelo. Fabricante Bogota.

These highly decorative and scarce figures rarely become available for sale and it is unusual to have a collection of three. These figures look stunning on display and would make an amazing collector's item or museum piece.

Condition: Nice original antique condition with age related wear. Some chips, cracks, breaks, old repairs and staining leaving a wonderful decorative look and nice patina. One with a label. Please see pictures.
